Maybelline Color Sensational Popsticks - Pink Lollipop

Ok so first thing to say about the Maybelline Color Sensational Popsticks is the packaging and the actually product, because they do look incredible and thats what attracted me to them. I have the colour Pink Lollipop (030) which in the tube is a bright neon pink which is full of a bluey purpley shimmer.

However don't be put of by this as it appliesnear enough completey sheer, you have to apply alot of product to get any colour payoff. In effect its basically a well packaged cool looking lip balm, saying this I didn't find it moisturising on the lips and it applied quite matte. If your after something more highly pigmented you'd be better of investing in the Revlon lip butters or the Loreal Caresse Lipsticks, both of which I find do moiturise your lips leaving them with a nice sheen and some colour.

There are only 5 shades to choose from in the Popsticks range they are Pink Lollipop, Pink Sugar, Cherry Pop, Citrus Slice and Crystal Pink. The best thing about them is there smell which is lovely and fruity. Prices are around £7.19 and they are available from Boots and Superdrug.

Let me know if you've tried them out and what you thought of them. Would you buy them again or what would you recommend instead?
